The club was chartered in Rockwall, Texas, November 27, 1973, with 50 members.

As stated in the club's By-laws, the purpose of this organization is to unite and promote the Rockwall area through service to the community in initiating and supporting civic, study, and social events.

Fund for the service projects are earned through one function annually. The Charity Ball, with its differing theme each year, has become the focal activity for all members. The Ball has become a gala fundraiser because of the outstanding support of the community.

The monthly programs reflect the study portion of the club's purpose.

The club's membership has been raised from the original 50 members to now 80 members and has added classifications of membership, active and associate. The club maintains a waiting list limited to 15 names.

The satisfaction of serving others and the responsibility of membership have nurtured beautiful friendships among the members.
