Rockwall Women's League is involved in many areas of our community, from volunteering at our children's schools to serving thousands of meals to our Seniors each year to selling pumpkins at The Pumpkin Patch each fall. The diversity within our league is as vast as our community service projects. We are known for being phenominal cooks as well....because we love to feed our community and our families!
With that being said, one of our "claims to fame" is our award-winning cookbook, A League of Our Own - From Blue Jeans to Ball Gowns. Not only is this a beautiful book, but it has incredible recipes for the novice and gourmet.
We will be attending the Rockwall Founder's Day Event on Saturday, May 31st, 2008 from 9 AM - 6 PM on the Rockwall Square. At that event, we will be offering various samples from our cookbook, as well as other Junior League cookbooks from across the United States. Please stop by our booth and pay us a visit! And if you already have our book, remember it would be a great end-of-year teacher gift or hostess gift for those summertime cookouts on the horizon!
Click on our cookbook link below if you can't make the Founder's Day Event. We will be glad to ship it to you!
Happy Cooking!
